My action research plan

Week 3 has been tough.  With teaching and coaching I've worked 56 hours in 4 days, missed my sons birthday because I was the administrator at a volleyball tournament for two days and had this lovely assignment waiting for me.  I felt that I had it all planned in my head, but putting it down on paper turned out to be a little different.  I feel confident that my action research will help demonstrate to our entire staff the importance of having a positive relationship with their students.

Please feel free to give me any feedback you can think of!

  1. It will be interesting to see what the students perceive as positive relationship methods and what the teachers consider as positive methods. You are working with 7th and 8th graders here. :) This is a good action plan. I think you will learn alot from the research as well as the campus. I will be interested to see the results. Good luck with your journey :)

  2. I think this is a very interesting topic. I look forward to seeing your results. It would be interesting if you could present this to staff members and then give them a few months to work at it and see if the would rank their choices differently such as in Delphi method we read about this week.

  3. This is a great topic and you have a huge undertaking ahead of you. I believe that positive relationships are the key to motivate students. I have noticed that the teachers that get the most complaints from students/parents are not known to build positive relationships with their students. I am interested to see what your research on the topic says as well as the results of your action research project.

  4. Your plan looks great, I wish mine was that detailed. I would love to compare results when we get them to see if they are similar. This is harder than I thought it would be while you are working and trying to take care of your family also, just have to keep telling myself it won't be forever, so hang in there.
